Opening a profile can create a visit record under the current visibility rules. If Hide my visit or an invisible-visit action is available, use it within the window shown on screen and wait for success.
A countdown or loading ring is not confirmation that the visit is hidden. The action may depend on membership and can expire when you leave or the time runs out. Check the explanation if it is unavailable.
