Open Account or Settings, choose your email address and enter the new one. Follow the verification screen and enter the latest code sent to the new address.
A pending change is not the same as a verified new sign-in address. Wait for the confirmation. If you switch the app language, a newly requested code email follows that language; an already queued email keeps its original language.
